"Hussar child, hussar child..." carpathian basin drawing competition for children, 2018.

Has been successfully completed the "HUSSAR CHILD, HUSSAR CHILD ..." Carpathian Basin Drawing Competition for Children in 2018, which was organized successfully by the Székesfehérvár Organization of the Hungarian Army and Society Circle of Friends, with the Military Memorial Park Pákozd (KEMPP) and with the Tanoda Association of Nagyvárad, and was promoted by the Hungarian Ministry of Defense.

Hussars, as central figures of the drawing contest, have played a decisive role in Hungarian Military History for almost half a millennium. The traditionally and uniquely Hungarian light cavalry, the Hussars, even in the age of King Matthias gained notoriousness and recognition, and was an active participants in the struggles of our Nation until the Second World War, and deservedly earned the Name "The Most Hungarian Branch". The Hungarian Hussar has been recognized as Hungarikum recently, acknowledging its outstanding significance and value. The organizers of the drawing contest trusted that the figure of the Hussar would give students sufficient enthusiasm to acceptance drawing objects and make their creations.

In this year too, Gold pencils, Silver pencils and Bronze pencils were awarded unto the children, as well as gifts related to them, and the organizers gave many special prizes for the best, too. Thanks for the great activity and enthusiasm of the children, each participant was given an unique charter at the announcement of the results, and the most active teaching institutions and creative communities were awarded special prizes. A large-scale Exhibition has also been completed, and the Ceremonial Announcement happen on two locations: in May 2018 in Oradea, in the framework of the cultural program "Festum Varadinum", and on 8 June in Székesfehérvár.
